Hey!! user

Rain on the Roof!!!

This is an amazing poem written by Coates kinney.who has wrote many fantastic and beautiful poems like liting and haunting.

Rain on the roof is one of them

By its tittle we can conclude that the poem is about rain.In this particular poem Kinney describes about one night when he listened a soft patter of the rain and he was pleased.and also his memories of some past beautiful night.

In the para 1 ,
He describes that when dark clouds moves In the starry spheres (here, sky full of stars) in the dark night . It's like bless to anybody to sleep or simply lay on the bed and listen the amazing sound of the rain.

In para 2,

The poet is exoressing his feelings ,he says Whenever he hears rain falling on the roof top, the soundrepeats in his heart and in his dreams, he has many different, fanciful imaginations. He recollects many memories of past experience.and quietly listening to the patter of soft rain.

In para3.

Now , in the dream of poet's his mother come as she used to come before who is no more longer live.she used to consider him a darling the poet still feel that his mother is looking fixedly at him as he listens to the song made by the rain drops falling on the roof top of his room. The sound of the rain makes him correlate his past with his present. That is why the poet is moved by the sound of the rain drops on the shingles of his room. Whenever he hears this sound it brings back memories of the past and he is reminded of his mother.

◆This is all about the poem .◆
