8^(x-1) = 2^(x+3)
=) 2^3 (x-1) = 2^(x+3)
=) 2^(3x-3) = 2^(x+3) Hence 3x - 3 = x +3
=) 3x - x = 3 + 3
=) 2x = 6
=) x = 6/2 = 3. Hope it's helpful to u.

Aanchal0106: no x=3
Aanchal0106: 3(x-1)=3x-3 not 3x-1

Hey there!!!

8x^2 -1 = 2x^+3

=> [ (2)]^3(x-1) = 2^x+3

=> 1^3x -3. = x +3

=> 3x -x = 6
=> 2x = 6
=> x = 3

Hope this helps u !!!
