The value of x is 8.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : If (8x+1) , (6x-1) , (3x+5) are in A.P.

To find : The value of x ?

Solution :

In the A.P the difference between two consecutive term is same.

i.e. a_2-a_1=a_3-a_2

The A.P given is (8x+1) , (6x-1) , (3x+5).

Here, a_1=(8x+1) , a_2=(6x-1) , a_3=(3x+5)

(6x-1)-(8x+1)=(3x+5)-(6x-1)

6x-1-8x-1=3x+5-6x+1

-2x-2=-3x+6

x=8

Therefore, the value of x is 8.
