Answer:

X+930=444(4/9)%x

X+930=4000x/900

x+930=40x/9

(40x/9)-x=930

31x/9=930

X=30×9

X=270

Concept: The equation for a linear equation in one variable is written as ax+b = 0, where a and b are two integers, and x is a variable. This equation has only one solution. For instance, the linear equation 2x+3=8 only has one variable.

Given: 930 is added to a number

           number become 444\frac{4}{9}% of itself

To find: the original number

Solution:

Let the original number be x.

if 930 is added to a number means x + 930

the number become 444\frac{4}{9}% of itself means \frac{4000}{9*100} × x

Now, according to question,

x + 930 = \frac{4000}{9*100} × x

x + 930 = \frac{4000x}{900}

900 (x +930) = 4000x

900x + 837000 = 4000x

837000 = 4000x - 900x

837000 = 3100x

\frac{837000}{3100} = x

270 = x

Hence, the original number is 270.
