(a-1/a)^2=3

a^2+1/a^2-2×a^2×1/a^2=3

a^2+1/a^2=3+2=5Now cube on the both sides we have

(a^2+1/a^2)^3=5^3

(a^2)^3+(1/a^2)^3+3a^2×1/a^2(a^2+1/a^2)=125

a^6+1/a^6+3×1(5)=125

a^6+1/a^6=125-15

a^6+1/a^6=110
