a = -1 b = 8

(b/a )+ 9

(8/ -1) + 9

-8 + 9

1

               Given data:- a=-1,b=8.

               To find:- Value of above expression \frac{b}{a} +9.

               Solution:-

  • To solve the above equation we will follow the BODMAS rule.

  • BODMAS rule is to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics. It stands for,

          B= bracket

           O= order of power or rules

           D= division

           M= multiplication

           A= addition

           S= subtraction

     Now put the value a and b in the given equation we get,

            \frac{b}{a} +9\\=>\frac{8}{-1}+9\\=>-8+9\\=>1

    Hence we will get the value is 1.
