if A=2+1/a and B=a+1/2,if A=B then what should be the value of a?​

Answer:

Given, A=2+1/a B=a+1/2

Also, A=B

So,2+1/a=a+1/2

 3/a=a+1/2

   By cross multiplying,

            6=a^2+1

             a^2+1-6=0

     P= -6, s= 1

              a^2+3x-2x-6=0

        a(a+3)-2(a+3)=0

          (a-2)(a+3)

         Therefore, a= 3, a= -2
