Answer:

What is Abscissa ?

⇒  The distance of a point from the y-axis on a graph in the Cartesian coordinate system. It is measured parallel to the x-axis.

For example:

A point having coordinates (2,3) has 2 as its abscissa.

Given to us :

A coordinates = ( -2 , 3 )

→ Here , abscissa is - 2

B coordinates = ( -3 , 5 )

→ Here , abscissa is - 3

To Find :

(Abscissa of A ) - ( Abscissa of B )

( -2 ) - ( - 3 )

= - 2 + 3

=  1
