If a= 2+√3
then find the value a-1/a​

Solution

Given,

a = 2 + √3 ...............[1]

On rationalising 'a',we get :

→ 1/a = 2 - √3................[2]

On subtracting [1] and [2],we get :

» 2√3

Thus,

a - 1/a = 2√3
