In the formula

(a+b+c)² =a²+b²+c²+2ab+2bc+2ca

(a+b+c)² =a²+b²+c²+2(ab+bc+ca)

Put the value of a²+b²+c² and ab+bc+ca which is given in the question then

(a+b+c)²= 250+2*3

(a+b+c)²= 256

then , a+b+c= (256)½

Hence a+b+c= 16

Since 16 is the square root of 256.
