The value of A + B will be :-

A + B = 2i + 4j + 2i - 5j

= 4i -j

And its magnitude can be calculated by:-

 \sqrt{ {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} }   \\  \\  =  \sqrt{ {4}^{2}  +  {1}^{2} }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{17}
Hope it helps.

A + B = 2i + 4j + 2i - 5j  = 4i -j  And its magnitude can be calculated by:-   \sqrt{ {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} }   \\  \\  =  \sqrt{ {4}^{2}  +  {1}^{2} }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{17}
