If a = √3+1 √3−1 , b= √3−1 √3+1 , find the value of a2 + ab - b 2

Hi Sainargo,

well u have to solve it by using
(a+b)(a-b)= a^2-b^2
and
sq(sqrt(3)) = 3

a= 3-1 = 2
b= 3-1 = 2

now

a^2 + ab - b^2 = 4+4-4 = 4

Its a very tricky question but not difficult.
