Given that

a = 3 + b

We need to find

 {a}^{3}  -  {b}^{3}  - 9ab
putting a = 3 + b in above equation; we get

 >  >  > ( {3 + b})^{3}  -  {b}^{3}  - 9ab \\  \\ by \: using \:  ({a + b})^{3}  =  {a}^{3}  +  {b}^{3}  + 3 {a}^{2}  {b} + 3 {a} {b}^{2}

 >  > 27 +  {b}^{3}  + 27b + 9 {b}^{2}  -  {b}^{3}  - 9ab \\  >  >  > 27 + 27b - 9ab \\  >  > 3 + 3b - ab
