Let the new vector be C=xi+yj
Given,
|C|=|B|
=√49+576
=25
Also,
A and C have same directions,so
∴A(cap) = C(cap) { A(cap) means unit vector of A}
⇒(3i+4j)/(√9+16) = (xi+yj)/|C|
⇒(3i+4j)/5 = (xi+yj)/25
⇒xi+yj=15i+20j
Hence, the new vector C=15i+20j
Given,
