If a=√5+1/√5-1 and b=√5-1/√5+1, find the value of a^2+ab+b^2/a^2-ab+b^2

X=√√{(5+1)/(√5−1)(5+1)/(√5−1)}

=√{(√5+1)(√5+1)/(√5+1)(√5–1)} (multiply by (√5+1)

=√{(√5+1)^2/4}

=(√5+1)/2.

Now,5x^2–5x+1

=5x*(x-1)+1

=5* {(√5+1)/2}*{(√5+1)/2–1}+1

=5* {(√5+1)/2}*{(√5–1)/2}+1

=5*4/4 +1

=5+1=6
