since a & b are two irrational numbers

HCF=a

LCM=?

product of two numbers = HCF*LCM

therefore ; two numbers= a x b

we get;

a x b = HCF * LCM

a x b = a * LCM

(transpose a to LHS )

we get;

$\frac{a * b}{a}$$=LCM$

therefore the value LHS = b
