P(x,y) = ?

AP = AB ..... (given)

:. point p is the midpoint of seg AB

:. By midpoint formula ,

x coordinate of P = x1 + x2 / 2

= -2+(-2) / 2

= -2-2 / 2

= -4 / 2 = -2

y coordinate of P = y1 + y2 / 2

= -2+(-4) / 2

= -2-4 / 2 = -6 /2

= -3

:. P(x,y) = (-2 , -3)
