Final Answer : P(A π B) = P(A) * P(B)

SOLUTION :
Two events A and B are said to be independent if happening of one do not affect happening of another.

Therefore, Probability of happening of both A and B simultaneously is Probability of happening of A( P(A))and Probability of Happening of B(P(B) ). (multiplied together)

That is,
P(A π B) = P(A) * P(B) .

Solution:-

If A and B are independent events then P(A∩B) = P(A)*P(B) Answer.

●If events A and B are independent, the probability that both events occur can be written as: P(A and B) = P(A)*P(B)

●Now that you have the values of P(A), P(B), and P(A and B), you can calculate P(AUB) as P(AUB)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A and B).

your right anwer is :- P(A)*P(B)
