Since a and b are the roots of the equation ,

2a² - 35a = -2 or 2a - 35 = -2/a

Similarly ,

2b - 35 = -2 /b

Now , ( 2a - 35)³ ( 2b - 35)³ =

( -2/a)³ ( -2/b)³ =

8 × 8 / a³b³ =

64 / 1 =

64 [ ab = 1 ]
