If a and b are the roots of x + 7x + 10 = 0 find the value of a^4 + b^4​

and ∴α

−10α+16=0 ...(2)

Subtracting (2) from (1)

x^{2}+2x+5x+10=0

x(x+2)+5(x+2)=0

(x+5)(x+2)=0

a= -5 and b= -2

a^{4} +b^{4} =(-5)^{4} +(-2)^{4} =625+16=641
