We have, a and b are the zeroes of the polynomial. Then,

 \frac{1}{a}  +  \frac{1}{b}  =  \frac{a + b}{ab}

We know, a + b = - 5

And, ab = 6

Hence,

 \frac{1}{a}  +  \frac{1}{b}  =   \frac{ - 5}{6}

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!
