If a and b are two rational numbers then,

a. \:  \frac{a + b}{2}  < a
b. \:  \frac{a + b}{2}  < b
c. \:  \frac{a + b}{2}  = a
I know that option 2 (b) is correct but how? Please explain briefly about it that how can option B be the correct one.

and find out easily that which one is correct..

if u r putting the value of a = 3 and b = 5

u will see that option B will be correct
