solution =>

  • n(A) = 12----(1

  • n(A-B)=5 eq----(2

  • EQ(1 put in EQ (2

  • n(12-B)=5 ,12-B=5

  • B=12-5

  • n(B)=7------(2

  • n(A∪B) = 23-----(3

we know that

  • =>n(A∩B) =n(A)+n(B)-n(A∪B) ----(4

  • EQ 1 ,2 ,3 value put in EQ 4

  • =>n(A∩B) =12+7-23

  • =>n(A∩B) =19-23

  • =>n(A∩B) =-4
