A alone can do 1/4 of the work in 12 days.

So the amount of work done by A alone in one day is 1/48.

Let B alone can do 1/x of the same work in one day.

A and B can complete the work in 10 days.

So the amount of work done by A and B in one day is 1/10.

Therefore,

\longrightarrow\dfrac{1}{48}+\dfrac{1}{x}=\dfrac{1}{10}

\longrightarrow\dfrac{1}{x}=\dfrac{1}{10}-\dfrac{1}{48}

\longrightarrow\dfrac{1}{x}=\dfrac{19}{240}

\longrightarrow\underline{\underline{x=\dfrac{240}{19}\ days}}
