if (a-b)=0.9 and ab=0.36 find the value of (a+b)

(a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab
0.81=a^2+b^2-0.72
Let a^2+b^2=k
k=1.53
(a+b)^k+2ab=1.53+0.72=2.25
so a+b=√2.25=1.5

(a+b)²-(a-b)²=4ab
(a+b)²-0.81=1.44
(a+b)²=1.44+0.81
(a+b)²=2.25
a+b=1.5
