(a+b)^2=10^2
a^2+b^2+2ab =100
a^2+b^2 + 2(2) =100
a^2+b^2+4=100
a^2+b^2=100-4
a^2+b^2=96
2)Solution:
(a-b)^2= a^2+b^2+2ab-4ab
= 96+2(2)-4(2)
= 96+4-8
= 92
a+b=10
(a+b)^2=10^2
