\huge\sf{ANSWER:-}

\sf{Given\:that:\: a+b=14}

\sf{ab=2}

\sf{To\:find: a^2+b^2}

\sf\pink{We\:know\:that:-}

\sf\red{(a+b)^2= a^2+2ab+b^2}

\sf{∴\:(14)^2 = a^2+b^2 + 2*2}

\sf{=>\:a^2+b^2= 196-4}

\sf\boxed{a^2+b^2=192}

(a+b)2=a2+2ab+b2

(a+b)2=a2+b2+2ab

142=a2+b2+2(20)

196=a2+b2+40

a2+b2=156
