Answer:

 \:  \:  \:  \: A: B = 2 : 3 \\  \:  \:  \:  \frac{A}{ B}  =  \frac{2}{3}  \\  \\   \:  \:  \:  B:C =4 : 5  \\  \:  \:  \:  \frac{B}{C}  =  \frac{4}{5}

To find A: B : C, we have to find equal value of B.

Thus,

LCM of 3 and 4 = 12

 \:  \:  \:  \frac{A}{B}  =  \frac{2 \times 4}{3 \times 4}  =  \frac{8}{12}

 \frac{B}{C}  =  \frac{4 \times 3}{5 \times 3}  =  \frac{12}{15}

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \: A:B:C  \\  =8 :  12 :15

Answer is 8:12:15

Reason is that the two B terms dont match, so the B terms have to match to get the whole ratio. so we used LCM.

now...  LCM of 3 and 4 is 12

so, first ratio is (2 X 12) : 12

                             3

it is then 2 X 4 : 12

so, 8 :12

Second ratio

12: 5 X 12

         4

it is then 12: 5 X 3

so, 12:15

then whole ratio is 8:12:15
