If A:B = 2:3, B:C = 4:5 and C:D = 5:9 then A:D is equal to:

Since ratios can be also expressed as fractions, this problem becomes easier expressed that way.

A:B becomes A/B etc.

A/D = A/B × B/C × C/D

= 2/3 × 4/5 × 6/7

= 48/105

So A:B = 48:105
