Answer:

I am giving two methods to solve this question. You can use any one of them.

METHOD - 1

a:b = 3:4 => a/b = 3/4

(6a+b):(4a+5b)

Dividing the numerator and the denominator by b, we get

 \frac{ \frac{6a}{b} + 1 }{ \frac{4a}{b} + 5 }

Putting the value of a/b and simplifying we get

 \frac{ \frac{9}{2} + 1}{ 3 + 5 }

= 11/16

Hence, required value = 11/16

METHOD - 2

a:b = 3:4 => a = 3x, b = 4x

(6a+b):(4a+5b)

= (18x+4x)(12x+20x)

= 22x/32x

= 11/16

Hence, required value = 11/16
