See given ,

a : b = 4 : 5 i.e.,

 \frac{a}{b}  =  \frac{4}{5}

and, b : c = 6 : 9 i.e.,

 \frac{b}{c}  =  \frac{6}{9}

So to get a : b : c we need make a : b and b : c equivalent.

We can do so by equalizing b in both the ratios. This can be done by taking lcm of both values of b which is 30 ( lcm of 5 and 6 )

Now, we have

 \frac{a}{b}  =  \frac{4}{5}  =  \frac{24}{30}

and

 \frac{b}{c}  =  \frac{6}{9}  =  \frac{30}{45}

Thus , we have

a : b : c = 24 : 30 : 45
