A : B = 5 : 9 , B : C = 6 : 7

A/ B= 5/ 9 --(1) , B / C = 6/ 7. --(2)

multiply (1) and (2) we get

(A/ B) × (B/ C) =( 5/ 9) × (6/7)

A/ C = 30/63 => = 10/21

A/ C = 10 / 21

this implies that

A : C = 10 : 21

Answer: A : C = 10 : 21
