Solve the equation 5(x-3) = 3(x-2)

Hey friend,
Here is the answer you were looking for:

5(x - 3) = 3 (x - 2)

5x - 15 = 3x - 6

5x - 3x = -6 + 15

2x = 9

x = 9/2

x = 4.5

5(x - 3) = 3(x - 2) \\ 5x - 15 = 3x - 6 \\ 5x - 3x =  - 6 + 15 \\ 2x = 9 \\ x = 9 \div 2
so that value of x is 9/2
