Given: a:b = 6:5

           a = 24

To find : value of b

Solution: As given a= 24

                24 : b = 6 : 5

then,

It is clear according to ratio  that value of 'b' is less than value of  'a'.

For determining value of 'b' ,

6 × a = 24

a = 4

Hence, b = 5 × 4

b = 20 .

24 : 20 = 6 : 5 . This satisfies equation. So, answer is correct.
