substitute a=5/2 in (1)

=>a+b=6

=>5/2+b=6

=>b=6- 5/2

a + b = 6. 1.
3a - b = 4. 2.

add 1 n 2
4a = 10
a = 10/4
a = 5/2. 3.

put the value of 3 equation in 1.

5/2 + b = 6
b = 6 - 5/2
b = 7/2

a - b = 5/2 - 7/2
= -2/2
a - b = -1
