If a, b, c and d are in AP, such that its common difference = 11 and a = 2 , then find the arithmetic mean of a, b , c and d.

for finding 3rd term 'c' (here n will be 3)

=>b=13

now

mean=(a+b+c+d)/4

mean=(2+13+24+35)/4

mean = 74/4

mean = 18.5

therefore the arithmetic mean of a, b , c and d  is 18.5
