Here is the solution :

We know that every consecutive odd numbers differ by a numerical value of 2,

So, in this case,

b = a+2,

c = b+2 = a+4

d = c+2 = a+6

e = d+2 = a+8,

Since the given variables are consecutive odd numbers,

Also, Avg is defined by The sum of all values divided by the no.of values.

=> The avg of the following numbers is

(a + (a+2) + (a+4) + (a+6) + (a+8))/5,

since 5 is the number of variables given.

=> Avg = (5a+20)/5

=> Avg = 5*(a+4)/5

=> Avg = a+4,

If you can see, c = a+4,

=> The avg of the 5 consecutive odd numbers is always the middle number.

Therefore the answer of your question is "c".
