here

initial velocity=40

t=2sec

g=10

on using first law of uniformly accelerated motion

we get

v=40+(-10)×2

v=20m/s

hope it helps you

Answer:

60meter/sec

Explanation:

v=ut+1/2at^2

u=40m/s. a=-g=-10m/s^2

a=10

so v=40×2-1/2×10×2×2

v=80-20

v=60m/s
