If a battery is packed in a box and only two wires from two terminals are given out how can we decide positive and negative terminals of the battery

Answer:

just connect a rod to the terminals of the wire the rod will start behaving as a magnet itself..then with the use of another permanent magnet you can easily identify the terminals as positive and negative.
