Answer:

40m/s

Explanation:

Theory:

Average Speed = Sum of all distances covered÷

Sum of all times taken

cover each and every distance

=> Sum of all the distances = 200m +1400m +400m

= 2000m

=> Sum of all the times = 10s + 30s + 10s

= 50s

Avg Speed = Sum of all distances ÷ Sum of all Times

= 2000m/50s

= 40m/s

Explanation:

KNOW SOMETHING FROM HERE

WE KNOW THAT AVG. SPEED IS = TOTAL DISTANCE/ TOTAL TIME TAKEN TO DO WORK

NOW, YOUR ANSWER

DISTANCE TRAVELED BY FIRST BODY =200M

TIME TAKEN TO TRAVELED BY FIRST BODY =10 S

DISTANCE TRAVELLED BY THE SECOND BODY =1400M

TIME TAKEN BY THE SECOND BODY IS 30S

DISTANCE TRAVELED BY THE THIRD BODY IS400M

TIME TAKEN BY THE THIRD BODY IS 10 SEC

NOW,

ADD THE DISTANCE AND TIME TOGETHER

DISTANCE SPEED

(200 +1400+400)M (10+30+10)S

2000M 50S

NOW, DIVIDE 2000M/ 50 S

  1. NOW, FROM 50 ONE 0 CUTS 5 AND FROM 2000 ONE 0 CUTS

SO ,200 /5 THAT IS 40
