Given,

u=50m/s

a=5m/s2

S=240m

v=?

t=?

By Applying the (iii) equation, we get

= v2-u2=2aS

=v2-502=2*5*240

=v2=2400+2500

=v2=4900

=v=70

Now, by applying the equation (i), we get,

=v=u+at

=70=50+5t

=20=5t

=t=4 sec.
