if a body is moving with uniform speed in a particular direction on a perfectly smooth surface ,then on force is acting on it . true or false ? explain

false as the path is perfectly smooth so no force needed to overcome frictional force .moreover the speed is constant so no acceleration so no force ( f= ma).

A perfectly smooth surface would mean no friction so that force is out. If it is on a surface, then there must be gravity between both objects. This means there is some force! ... Newton's law says that balanced forces do not produce acceleration so the constant speed of the object remains constant.
