Answer

The distance travelled by the body is 131.9m

Explanation

Lᵉᵗ us ᶜᵒnsider consider,

The velocity be u

The acceleration be a

The time taken be t

The distance travelled be s

Formula to be used

s = ut +¹/₂ᵃᵗ²

Given data

velocity,

u = 54km/h

⇒ᵘ = 54×10³/60×60

⇒ᵘ = 13.88 ᵐ/ˢ

Acceleration ,

a = 5m/s²

time taken

t = 5s

Disᵗᵃnce covered

s = ut +¹/₂at²

⇒s = 13.88×5+1/2×5×5²

⇒ s = 69.4 + 62.5

⇒s = 131.9m

Therefore, distance travelled by the body is 131.9m
