GIVEN:

  • A boy runs around a circular track.

  • He completed two rounds of circular track.

TO FIND:

  • Distance travelled by the boy.

  • Displacement travelled by the boy.

SOLUTION:

1.Distance travelled by the boy = circumference of circular track.

So,He completed 2 rounds

=> Distance = 2 ×2πr

=> Distance = 4πr

2. As the boy completed two rounds of the circle therefore his initial and final point will be same.

That is he started with a point and finished at that point.

Therefore, Displacement = 0
