Initial velocity of bullet is 100m/s.
final velocity=0.
distance traveled in block=6cm=0.06m.
By using the formula .....
v^2=u^2-2as....
we have
0^2=(100)^2 - 2a(0.06)
=> 0.12a=10000
=> a= 10000/0.12
=> a=83333m/s^2.
mass of bullet = 5g=0.005kg.
we Know that Force=mass times acceleration.
so Force =(0.005)(83333)=415N
final velocity=0.
