Answer:

u = 10 m/s

t = 6 sec

a = -2 m/s^2

s = ??

s = ut + ½at²

s = 10×6+½ ×2×6×6

s = 60+36

s= 96 m

Answer

Final velocity is zero.and acceleration is −ve

Final velocity is zero.and acceleration is −ve0=u

Final velocity is zero.and acceleration is −ve0=u 2 −2×a×s

Final velocity is zero.and acceleration is −ve0=u 2 −2×a×ss= 2au 2s∝u 2

s∝u 2

s∝u 2 if car moving with a velocity of 10m/s can be stopped by the application of a constant force F in a distance of 20m, since the velocity is tripled stopping distance will become 3 2 =9times..
