Answer:

Area of Circle = 6.28 sq. units

Step-by-step explanation:

If a circle is inscribed in a square -

Diameter of Circle = Side of Square

Let side of square = a

A/Q

Area of Square = 4

or a^{2} = 4

∴ a= 2

⇒ Diameter of circle = 2

So, Radius of circle (r) =  d/2=2/2=1

⇒ Area of circle = 2πr^{2}= 2π*1= 2π

∴ Area of Circle = 6.28 sq. units

Given that

Circle is inscribed in square having area 4

To find

area of circle

Solution

As circle is inscribed in square then diameter of circle is equal to side of square.

Let d is diameter and a is side of square

as

area \: of \: square = square \: of \: its \: side \\ 4 = {a}^{2} \\ a = 2

as a is equal to d then radius r will be 1

area \: of \: circle = \pi \times {r}^{2} \\ = 3.14

area of circle is 3.14
