I'll tell him or her that everyone has a passion and that we are all unique. Sometimes a person's passion and aptitude are unknown until they are found at the perfect moment and location. When the time is right in my life, I can also be just as good as everyone else.

Say "whatever" and carry on. Who cares if somebody says that? Is it the worst slur they can muster? They're terrible at insulting individuals, as I've heard far worse things said about me. Something isn't necessarily true just because someone claims it is.
