surface area of cube is given by_
{6a}^{2}
for large cube of side 4cm =96

for smaller cube surface area =
16 \times 6 \times   {1}^{2}  = 384
net increase in surface area = 384-96/96
=3 times of initial

so percentage increase is 300%
