if a force of 10 Newton acts on surfaces of areas in the ratio 1 : 2, then the ratio of thrust is?

Hey dear here is your answer

Force = 10 N
Area 1  = x
Area 2 = 2x

Thrust 1 = F / A1 = 10/x
Thrust 2 = F/ A2 = 10/2x = 5/x
Ratio = (10/x) / (5/x) 10 * x / 5 * x = 2/1 = 2 : 1

Area( A1) = x

Area(A2) = 2x
So,
